Rossini Cesare SRL owns and manages Rossini watchmaking, jewelry, and silverware, a family-owned business located at 15 Corso Luigi Carlo Farini in Russi, Ravenna.
The Rossini profession as watchmakers has its roots in the past when, in about the mid-19th century, Pietro Rossini decided to continue the watchmaking business started by his father.
A native of the village of Solarolo (Ravenna), he used to go to the markets of Lugo and Castel Bolognese (the main ones in the area) where his work was very
appreciated. After various vicissitudes, his son Sebastiano settled in Russi where, together with his son Giuseppe, they continued that activity by opening the
first fixed point of sale.
Giuseppe, in addition to working as a watchmaker and goldsmith, with initiative, also introduced the business of optics. His children Cesare and Marilena, having both graduated from optical school, joined him in running the store for several years.
Cesare Rossini deepened his knowledge of optics by expanding the space devoted to this field and at the same time increased the work of jewelry and watchmaking with the support and help of his wife Irma.
Today, all three of their children (Rossella, Giuseppe and Giovanni) carry on the family business with passion, specializing further and
each developing a specific field: Rossella with Irma are in charge of administration and jewelry management; Giovanni has specialized in watchmaking, repairs and gemology; Giuseppe with great professionalism and passion has
Expanded the optical store considerably.
The business is therefore configured as a multi-brand activity articulated on 2 stores both located in Russi (Ravenna) where it is possible to buy jewelry (in gold, silver and precious stones) both of the main Italian and international brands and designed and made by Gioielleria Rossini, watches, silverware and gift items and optical products (eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, etc.) and receive a qualified repair service and advice in the purchase phase.
